New Web Site Design

After your free consultation, all new site design services are $175.00 USD for the initial design of your site template (one page, usually your home page). Janice & Co. Web Solutions will create sample layouts for you to review and keep going until we get it just right! Each additional page based on the original template will be $35 per page.

Example: A five page site will cost $350.00.

Exceptions include: if you already have a site template you wish us to use, we will set up your first page using your pre-purchased template for $100, each additional page based on this template will be $20 per page.

E-commerce enabled sites will be charged $35 per hour for shopping cart set-up, above and beyond the site design fees.

Non-profit organizations (churches, church groups, youth groups, charitable organizations, etc) will receive a 25% discount on the total service contract. To fall into this category you must qualify for exemption from federal corporate income taxes under Sections 501(c)(3), 501(c)(4), or 501(c)(7) of the Internal Revenue Code.

Minor updates for a new site (link additions, minor text additions/changes) are done at no additional charge for three months after launch date.

Maintenance after three months will be billed at $35.00 per hour. Major changes (page or site redesign, page additions) after the intial three months will be charged based on the job to be done - page additions based on the original template will be charged at the $35 per page price; a complete site redesign will be charged based on the new site design fees. Prices are subject to change without notice, however the price in affect at the time of your contract will remain the same.

All sites include:

  • unlimited text (number of words) provided electronically. Manually entering text from a hard copy will be billed at an hourly rate of $35.00 per hour.

  • upload to your host server assistance with domain name registration and choosing a host server scanning up to eight images, nine or more at $5 each.

  • site maintenance for sites designed by Janice & Co. Web Solutions is provided free for the first three months after launch date. Maintenance fees after the first three months are billed at a rate of $35 per hour.

  • one full size exchange banner (468x60) , one small exchange button (88x31), and one ad square (125X125 or smaller) using your own logo or custom made graphic.

  • submission to search engines/industry directories not covered by your host use of your own logo, images and/or custom graphics.

Design prices do not include fees charged by your ISP, Hosting fees or Domain name registration. These fees are charged separately and are the responsibility of the client.

A deposit of $50 is required for new site or redesign work to commence.

Site Maintenance and Site Redesign Services

Even if we did not originally create your site for you, we can help you keep it up to date while you concentrate on running your business. Maintenance rates are $35 per hour, billed to the nearest quarter hour, invoiced monthly.

Complete site redesign services are charged at the same rate of a new site.

Shopping Carts

Shopping carts offer you the ability to stock your virtual shelves. Not everyone will need this, but for those that do, there are shopping carts that handle everything from forwarding the total transaction amount to a secure payment Gateway, to tax and shipping calculation, product fulfillment, and inventory management, etc.

Janice & Co. Web Solutions will add a shopping cart to your site for $35 per hour.

Do I have to order an e-commerce package from my web site host?

No! Janice & Co. Web Solutions can "add on" a shopping cart to your regular web site without you having to pay for an e-commerce package from your web site host.

Domain Name Registration

I prefer using GoDaddy.com for hosting and domain registration. I will help you set up your own account so you "own" everything. I am not in the business to resell domain names and hosting.

Ownership of Original Artwork/Graphics: All original artwork/graphics developed by Janice & Company for the Client remains the copyright property of Janice & Company until payment is received in full. Once payment is received in full, Janice & Company grants the Client copyright and full rights to use the original artwork/graphics. Pornographic use, use that would be defamatory or libelous or use that is otherwise unlawful is prohibited. Unused design concepts will remain the copyright of Janice & Company and may be re-used in future projects.

It is the Client’s responsibility to do a Trademark/Copyright search in order to register their logo as a company Trademark. Learn more at: www.uspto.gov

PLEASE NOTE: Due to copyright laws and the respect we have for other designers work, we can only create custom designed Blogger themes to coordinate or compliment web designs not created by us, unless express consent has been given by the original web/graphic designer.

You will need: Approximate time and delivery guidelines:
  • Initial proof is delivered within 7 working days
  • Blogger design will be complete and installed within 5 working days from final proof approval and receipt of login or any additional information necessary for completion.
    *The above time and delivery guidelines are APPROXIMATE, and even though we always do everything possible to keep within these guidelines, in the event we discover there may be a possible delay in the processing of your order we will contact you immediately.

Revisions and/or changes:
Any major design changes outside of what is initially presented to us, may incur additional charges made due and payable before design completion and installation. Major design changes include, but are not limited to, complete change in theme or the addition of complex props and/or graphics. In the event of any such charges, the customer will be made fully aware before any changes are made.

Banner creation comes with each site designed by Janice & Co. Web Solutions. We will create banners for your site, even if we did not create your site for you.

Our standard package for WordPress website includes a WordPress Template, which is designed and configured specifically to fulfill your needs. You will update your WordPress website yourself, and/or add various components such as online shops, document manager, message boards, online newsletters and many more as your business needs.
