Using Pinterest to Get Customer Engagement

Pinterest is one of the fastest growing social media sites in the world.  My 50 yr old Soap Opera (The Young and the Restless) has even copied the concept in a front line story this month.  They call theirs “Tag and Grab”.

I find it an incredible time suck if I am browsing drink recipes, home improvement projects and scrapbooking ideas and not using it to promote my business.   However, I am finding it great for my clients.  I have a flower shop that uses it to show people ideas of what they can make, even if it isn’t their own work.  Their bridal customers can pin what they love and share with the designer to help create that arrangement for their own special day.
